SIM Dual nano-SIM

Each SIM version is a separate device with its own price and stock. Switching keeps your condition, storage and colour when that version has them.

SIM versions

The SIM version decides which SIM cards an iPhone takes and how you set up your number. Here is what iPhone 14 Pro on this page takes.

The version on this page

Two nano-SIM cards

Takes two SIM cards in one tray, so you can use two numbers at once. It does not support eSIM.

  • Two SIM cards at the same time
  • eSIM is not supported

SIM types explained

nano-SIM
The SIM card from your carrier. It goes into a small tray on the side of the iPhone.
eSIM
A digital SIM. Your carrier activates it on the iPhone, with no card to insert or lose. An iPhone can keep eight or more eSIMs.
Dual SIM
Two numbers on one iPhone, for example personal and work: a SIM card with an eSIM, or two eSIMs on iPhone 13 and later.
Two nano-SIM cards
Versions made for mainland China, and on older models for Hong Kong and Macao too, with a tray for two SIM cards.

eSIM in the UAE

e&, du and Virgin Mobile UAE offer eSIM, and you can move your current number from a SIM card to an eSIM in their apps.

Each carrier sets its own steps and fees, so check in your carrier's app before you switch.

Check which version a phone is

On the iPhone, open Settings, then General, then About. Tap the number next to Model Number until it starts with A, then find it in the list above. An iPhone without a SIM tray is eSIM only.

    Description

With iPhone 14 Pro, Apple introduced the Dynamic Island, the Always-On display and the first 48MP Main camera on iPhone. It comes in a 6.1-inch stainless steel design with ProMotion up to 120 Hz and a 3x Telephoto camera, for people who want Pro photography in a size that is easy to hold. Each one runs original software, is not jailbroken and passes more than 80 checks, and a 12-month 3ASH warranty covers it.

    Why choose iPhone 14 Pro?

    • The Dynamic Island, which shows alerts and Live Activities at the top of the screen.
    • An Always-On display with ProMotion up to 120 Hz.
    • A 48MP Main camera, with Ultra Wide and 3x Telephoto cameras beside it.
    • The A16 Bionic chip, a LiDAR Scanner and 5G.

    How it compares

The jump from iPhone 13 Pro is the Dynamic Island, the Always-On display and a 48MP Main camera in place of 12MP. For a titanium design, the Action button and USB-C with USB 3 up to 10Gb/s, see iPhone 15 Pro.

    Our advice

For most buyers we suggest 256GB: the 48MP Main camera and 3x zoom make this a phone you will shoot a lot with, while 128GB suits lighter use. Then choose the grade by looks alone, because every grade gives you the same A16 Bionic performance. See the grades.
